2024 Annual General Meeting

The 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the members of the National Roads and Motorists’ Association Limited (the NRMA) will be held as follows:


    Date: Friday 8 November 2024

Join the virtual AGM

Members can attend the virtual AGM via the online portal link below, and participate by asking questions or making comments in writing using the online portal or verbally using the telephone service (more details below).

For more information about how to attend and participate in the virtual AGM, please refer to the AGM Virtual Meeting User Guide. Members will be able to test their web browser from 10.30am on Friday 8 November 2024 (the day of the AGM) to ensure that they can see and hear the proceedings.

Members who would like to ask a question or make a comment verbally at the AGM should contact Link Market Services on 1800 990 363 or +61 1800 990 363 beforehand. You’ll be verified as a member, obtain a personalised PIN number, and provided with the telephone number to call from 11.00am on the day of the meeting.

Members who want to ask a question or make a comment in writing or verbally will be placed in a queue to participate at the appropriate time during the AGM as determined by the Chair.

Appoint a proxy

A member who is entitled to attend and vote at the AGM has the right to appoint a proxy to attend and vote on their behalf. A proxy need not be a member and may be an individual or a body corporate.

There are no resolutions for members to vote on at this year’s AGM. However, a member may wish to appoint a proxy to attend the AGM on their behalf. The appointment of your proxy must be received by the Returning Officer no later than 11.00am (Sydney time) on Wednesday 6 November 2024.

Questions from members in advance

Written questions from members in advance of the AGM are welcomed and should be received by Friday 18 October 2024. The Chair will seek to address as many of the more frequently raised question topics as possible during the AGM. Members who would like to submit questions in advance of the AGM may do so by emailing [email protected].

2024 Annual Report

The 2024 edition of our Annual Report, with information on the strategic direction of the NRMA, FY24 performance, outlook and more, will be available to view on this website before the AGM.

The Annual Report communicates how the NRMA creates value for our members, our business and our community. It also contains the Financial Report, the Directors’ Report and the Auditor’s Report for the financial year that ended on 30 June 2024.

Receiving member communications

If we have your e-mail address, we will send any notices of general meetings (including the Annual General Meeting (AGM)), other Member communications including for Director Elections and important service communications in relation to your Membership by e-mail.

However, you can elect how you would like to receive certain documents, including Annual Reports, notices of AGMs, other documents relating to meetings of Members and your Membership renewal statements.

You can make a standing election or one-off request to receive some or all of these documents in electronic or physical form. You can also elect not to be sent any Annual Reports.

To update your communication preferences, please go to mynrma.com.au/signin, and in the menu under your name click on ‘Email subscriptions’ and scroll to ‘Corporate Communications’ and ‘Membership communications’.

No matter what your election, you will be able to access Annual Reports and notices of any upcoming AGM on our website.
